GIFTS AND DONATIONS
Contributions to The Friends Home in Kennett are fully tax-deductible and provide essential dollars for:

our resident scholarship fund, which helps to keep our entrance fees and rates affordable for older adults with moderate incomes

building renovations, such as completion of adding bathrooms to resident rooms, kitchen improvements, and carpeting

equipment, furnishings, and special programs such as:

$50 will purchase some new large-print books for the library

$100 provides an evening of special musical entertainment
-
$150 will purchase a rocking chair for our famous front porch
-
$300 will purchase a new dining room chair
-
$500 will fund materials to build a raised garden bed
-
$1,000 will purchase a new electric bed for Linden Hall
How you can help

Make a donation of cash, stock, or other securitie

Make an in-kind donation, such as:
- videos and DVDs, especially musicals, documentaries, and comedies
- small bags of snacks or candy bars
- unused greeting cards
- art and craft supplies
- seasonal plants for our flower beds and resident gardens
- cut flowers for use in dining rooms, sitting rooms and corridors
- rocking chairs
- books and magazine subscriptions for the library
